◢The purpose
is to commend young people for fulfilling their social responsibilities, promote Taiwan's sustainable development, and encourage young people from all walks of life, including industry, government, academia, and research, to actively contribute to sustainable development from the perspectives of environmental protection, social inclusion, and economic development. The "Taiwan Outstanding Sustainable Youth Award" was established and this regulation was established.
◢Candidate qualifications:
1. Age 40 or below (born after January 1, 1985), including nationals of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or foreigners who have obtained residence permits in Taiwan. 2. Those who have demonstrated their professional abilities, combined with social resources, and made long-term investments in corporate management, public welfare organizations, social advocacy, educational research, or technological innovation related to sustainable development such as corporate governance, environmental protection, and social inclusion are eligible to apply.
◢Registration period
1: From February 17, 2025 to June 30, 2025. 2. You must complete the online registration ( https://www.surveycake.com/s/YoxPV ) within the registration period , and mail one original paper recommendation form to the Award Committee (Room 1C, 4F, No. 188, Section 5, Nanjing East Road, Songshan District, Taipei City). The date will be based on the postmark.
◢Recommendation method
1. During the registration period of this selection activity, representatives of government agencies (institutions), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), enterprises or academic research institutions and other units will nominate candidates.
2. The recommender should submit the candidate’s current job, academic experience, and representative deeds (electronic file) to the “Award Committee” for registration, and may also attach other reference information that may be helpful for review.
3. This selection activity accepts self-recommendations, but at least one letter of recommendation is still required, and the relationship between the recommender and the recommended person should be clearly stated.
◢Registration fee and payment method
No fees are required from registration to winning.
◢Selection Criteria
1. The Chairman of the Award Committee shall serve as the general convener and invite social leaders and impartial persons to serve as members to form the "Taiwan Outstanding Sustainable Youth Award Review Committee" (hereinafter referred to as this committee) to select the winners of the Taiwan Outstanding Sustainable Youth Award. 2. After being reviewed and approved by the committee in the preliminary and final selections, the "Taiwan Outstanding Sustainable Youth Award" will be awarded in accordance with these regulations.3. Selection Criteria
- Specificity of outstanding deeds [30%] - Significance of sustainable contribution [30%] - Extensive social impact [20%] - Sustained experience diffusion [20%]
◢The awards
ceremony will be held on September 11, 2025 in conjunction with the 4th Asia Pacific Sustainability Expo and Summit.
◢Notes 1.
Candidates must agree to authorize the organizer to collect, process and use the information provided during registration and submission for public welfare purposes, regardless of time and region, for subsequent data statistical analysis, book publishing, media use (print newspapers, online platforms, etc.) and other channels for exposure and digitization. 2. After winning the award, the candidate must agree to authorize the organizer to publish and reproduce the award-winning deeds and corporate trademark images ( derived from the content of the submitted award materials) based on the principles of transparency, integrity, fairness, openness and impartiality, so as to be used for subsequent data statistical analysis, book publishing, media application (print newspapers, online platforms, etc.) and other channels for exposure and digitization. 3. Candidates must provide their information in good faith. If the submitted information is verified to contain false statements, concealment, or controversial events that affect the public and the image of this award, the organizer may revoke their eligibility to receive the award.
4. The organizer reserves the right to modify, change, interpret and cancel this event. If there are any related changes, they will be announced on the website without further notice.
5. The recommender must sign and seal the application in person and return the original copy to the organizer. If the entry is printed electronically, the organizer has the right to disqualify the entry.
※ This regulation shall be implemented from the date of publication after being reviewed and approved by the "Award Committee" and approved by the General Convener, and the same shall apply to amendments.
